Los Angeles could be the center of the basketball world this week with the Spurs visiting the Lakers Tuesday and the Clippers hosting the Heat the following day.
Staples Center will be hosting two of the week's finest matchups with the Spurs set to play the Lakers Tuesday and the Heat paying a visit to the Clippers Wednesday evening.
San Antonio (6-1) will provide the Lakers with their stiffest challenge of the season as they look to get back on track with interm head coach Bernie Bickerstaff leading the way. Pau Gasol will surely have his hands full with Tim Duncan (18.9 PPG, 9.7 RPG) but it will be interesting to see how the Lakers bench handles the Spurs excellent backup unit.
And one day later, the Heat will be in the same arena for a potential finals preview against the other Los Angeles team. The Clippers are already looking like one of the finest teams in the West but a win over Miami could solidify any doubts of them being the best team in town.
