The Bobcats have beaten the Lakers in eight of their last 11 meetings.

The Los Angeles Lakers look for their second straight win on Tuesday night, facing the lowly Charlotte Bobcats. But lest the Lakers think victory will be assured, they can remember that they have lost eight of their last 11 games to Charlotte, including three of the last five at the Staples Center.

Charlotte comes to town with the worst record in the NBA at 3-18, including just 1-10 on the road. They have lost eight straight games and 14 of their last 15 contests. The Lakers are 10-2 at home this season.

The big three of Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, and Andrew Bynum are coming off a great game offensively in Minnesota, as the trio combined for 84 points in the Lakers' 106-101 victory at Target Center. It was the only game this season in which all three players scored at least 20 points. Bryant scored 35, Gasol scored a season-high 28 points, and Bynum had 21, the first time he has scored 20 points in a game since January 5, a span of 13 games.

The top three scorers for the Bobcats are all hurting. Gerald Henderson (15.0 points per game) is probable with the lower back injury, while D.J. Augustin (13.6 ppg) is out with a fractured big right toe and Corey Maggette (12.2 ppg) is out with a strained left hamstring.

Tuesday night's 7:30 p.m. PST game will be televised by Fox Sports West. For more Lakers news and information, be sure to read Silver Screen and Roll.
