Lakers Vs. Bucks Game Recap: By The Numbers

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered their latest road defeat on Saturday night, a 100-89 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center, the fifth loss in the last seven games overall for the Lakers. Here is a look back at Saturday's defeat, by the numbers.

0 — The number of victories this season for the Bucks in six previous games without center Andrew Bogut, who broke his last ankle on Wednesday and will miss two to three months. Make that one victory for the Bucks without Bogut.

1 — In eight games away from home this season, the Lakers have just one victory, the same number of road wins as the Washington Wizards, Charlotte Bobcats, Detroit Pistons, and Los Angeles Clippers this season.

1 — Milwaukee forward Stephen Jackson was suspended for Saturday's game against the Lakers for an altercation with a referee Friday night in Chicago, but the Bucks managed to fill in the gaps, especially with Ersan Ilyasova and Mike Dunleavy combining for 30 points on 13-for-17 shooting. "Defensively there was no excuse, (we’ve) got to do better. They were beating us all over the court," said Pau Gasol after the game.

2 — The number of days of rest in between games for the Lakers heading into Saturday, which presumably would have given them an advantage over the undermanned Bucks, who were playing the second night of back-to-back games and their third contest in four nights.

6, 18 — The number of made field goals and number of field goal attempts for Pau Gasol Saturday night, who is shooting just 43.5% in his last six games.

13 — The number of consecutive games the Lakers have scored under 100 points this season, the longest stretch they have had since the advent of the shot clock in the 1954-1955 season. The Lakers have scored 100 points just once in 20 games this season.

16.3%Metta World Peace made one of five shots from beyond the arc on Saturday night, which improved his three-point shooting percentage on the season. World Peace has made seven of 43 shots from long distance on the season.

17 — The number of unanswered points scored by the Bucks from the end of the first quarter into the second quarter, turning a 23-17 deficit into a 34-23 victory for Milwaukee. The Lakers never led again the rest of the game.

27 — Lakers rookie guard Andrew Goudelock followed up his 14-point effort on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers with 13 more points in Milwaukee Saturday night, all a mere one night after getting hospitalized for dehydration. Goudelock hit 10 of 18 shots from the field in the last two games, including five of eight from three-point range.

7,163 — The number of free throws made by Kobe Bryant in his career, the most in Lakers franchise history. Kobe made six free throws against Milwaukee, passing Jerry West in the fourth quarter to set the record.
