NBA Standings 2012: Slumping Lakers Fall In Western Conference

The Los Angeles Lakers continued their road woes Saturday night with a 100-89 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, the fourth consecutive road loss for the purple and gold. The Lakers are now just 1-7 on the road this season, which has hurt the Lakers in the Western Conference standings. If the season ended today, the Lakers would be on the outside looking in, watching the NBA playoffs from home.

If the Lakers are going to make any kind of noise in the playoffs this season, or even qualify for the postseason, they will need to improve on the road, and quickly. Seven of the Lakers' next eight games are away from home.
