Dwyane Wade could be out for the titanic matchup between the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers due to his foot injury issues.
The Miami Heat have been playing pretty good basketball to start this season, even with Dwyane Wade struggling to stay on the floor. They're 3-0 so far with Wade out of the lineup and sitting in street clothes.
They might have to deal without his presence a little bit longer.
This is the third injury Wade has had to deal with, as he has a bruised left foot and a strained calf to go along with that ankle injury he suffered against the Nuggets. The man likes to accumulate injuries.
Wade has always struggled with foot injuries throughout his career. The Heat guard's explosive drives to the basket have always put extreme pressure on his feet, and he's often struggled to play through it. It could be eventually what ends his career. But for now, the Heat guard might just have to sit and rest, especially considering how much of a gridn this abbreviated regular season will be on players. With Miami having LeBron James and Chris Bosh out there, they can afford to rest Wade and still not see too much of a drop-off in their play.
