2011 NBA Free Agents: Delonte West Considering Lakers As Next Destination

According to Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski free agent guard Delonte West is mulling over his options for the upcoming season, which could possibly include joining the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2011-12 NBA campaign.

Along with the Lake show the Mavericks, Suns, and a return to the Boston Celtics are all possible, I'm sure the question for him now will be what team will pay him the most and what team has the best shot at success. West has bounced back and fourth from Cleveland and Boston his entire career aside from a one year stint with the Seattle Sonics in 2007-08, and a move to the West might do him some good.

West, 28, averaged 5.8 points per game, along with 2.7 assists in 18.9 minutes a game last year for the Celtics, falling short of his usual numbers for a season. Nevertheless, he could still provide some bench depth at the guard position, and hopefully for on the cheap.
