The Jazz are currently 27-15, tied with Oklahoma City for the Northwest Division lead and third seed in the Western Conference. The Lakers lost 102-96 in Utah on November 26 in their only meeting with the Jazz this season, but have defeated the Jazz 16 straight times at Staples Center, including the playoffs.
