Lakers End Preseason With Overtime Win, 105-102 Over Warriors

Ontario, CA (Sports Network) - Shannon Brown knocked down the tie-breaking three-pointer in overtime to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 105-102 come- from-behind victory over Golden State in the preseason finale for both teams.

Brown finished with 18 points while Kobe Bryant added 22 points and seven assists for the Lakers, who wrapped up their exhibition slate at 4-4.

Golden State coughed up a nine-point lead with two minutes to play in regulation, as the Lakers stormed back to tie and force the extra session.

Bryant hit four foul shots and a layup to make it 98-95 with 1:09 left before Brown's three-pointer knotted the score with 30 ticks left.

Monta Ellis led all scorers with 41 while Reggie Williams chipped in 27 points and eight assists for the Warriors, who finished their regular season tuneups at 3-5.

David Lee added 16 points and 14 rebounds for the visitors, who received only six points from the five players who came off the bench.

Brown snapped a 100-100 tie with his jumper off a feed from Matt Barnes with 1:19 to go in overtime. A Williams jumper sliced the lead to one with 33.2 ticks remaining, but Ron Artest countered with a jump shot 22 seconds later to make it a three-point game. Williams missed a jump shot with five seconds left to seal the win for the hosts.

Williams missed a jumper in the waning seconds.

The Lakers open defense of their back-to-back crowns at home on Tuesday against Houston while the Warriors begin their 2010-11 campaign Wednesday by hosting the Rockets.
