Stanley Cup Final: Will Kings Continue Game 3 Success Against Devils?

The Los Angeles Kings look to continue their amazing run through the NHL playoffs, as they return home to host the New Jersey Devils in Game 3 of the 2012 Stanley Cup Final at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Kings, as they have in each of their previous three postseason series, lead the best-of-seven series two games to none.

In all four of their postseason series, the Kings have returned to Los Angeles after winning the first two games on the road. In each of the first three rounds, they have won Game 3 at Staples Center for a commanding 3-0 series lead. Here's a look back at the three previous Games 3 for the Kings this season:

First Round, April 15 - Kings 1, Vancounver Canucks 0: Kings goalie Jonathan Quick was on top of his game with 41 saves, one of two shutouts this postseason for Quick. The game was scoreless until the third period, when Dustin Brown lit the lamp with 13:30 remaining to beat the top seed Canucks.

Conference Semifinals, May 3 - Kings 4, St. Louis Blues 2: The Kings again scored first, this time a goal by Justin Williams in the first period. After the No. 2 seed Blues tied the game early in the second period, the Kings scored twice to build a big lead, with goals by Dwight King and Mike Richards.

Conference Finals, May 17 - Kings 2, Phoenix Coyotes 1: This game began a stretch of six playoff games in four days for Staples Center, and the Kings got the weekend off to a good start. Phoenix scored early in the second period, but Anze Kopitar answered less than two minutes later and King scored the game-winner at 1:47 of the third period for a 3-0 lead over the No. 3 seed Coyotes.
