Kings Vs. Coyotes, NHL Playoffs 2012 Game 3 Score: Anze Kopitar Ties Game For Kings, 1-1 After 2nd Period

Anze Kopitar scored the game-tying goal early in the second period, and the Los Angeles Kings and Phoenix Coyotes are tied 1-1 with 20 minutes left to play in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals Thursday night at Staples Center.

After a scoreless first period, Daymond Langkow scored at 1:03 of the second period, his first goal of the playoffs. Langkow's goal gave the Coyotes their first lead of the series, but that was quickly answered.

Kopitar lit the lamp at 3:10 of the second period, assisted by Dustin Brown and Justin Williams. It was the second goal of the series for Kopitar and his fifth goal of the postseason.

After getting outshot 11-8 in the first period, the Kings outshot the Coyotes 7-4 in the second period. Jonathan Quick saved three of four shots in the second period, while Mike Smith saved six of seven.
