Kings Vs. Blue Jackets Final Score: Jack Johnson Nets Winner, Kings Lose 3-1

Old friend Jack Johnson had a game winning goal in a Los Angeles Kings game on Thursday night. But unfortunately for Los Angeles, Johnson now plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets, who beat the Kings 3-1 on Thursday night four their fourth straight win.

After Mark Letestu opened the scoring with a goal for Columbus at 9:14 of the first period, Anze Kopitar tied the game for Los Angeles with his 20th goal of the season three minutes later. Johnson scored the go ahead goal with nine seconds remaining in the first period.

Johnson was part of the trade last month that brought Jeff Carter to Los Angeles.

Jonathan Bernier saved 33 of 36 shots in the loss for the Kings, who are 14-12-8 on the road this season. The Kings continue their road trip Friday night in Detroit, only the toughest place in all of hockey to win. The Red Wings are 27-4-2 at home this season.
