The Los Angeles Kings continue their road trip Thursday night facing the Florida Panthers at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise. The Kings have beaten the Panthers seven straight times, with their last loss to Florida coming on November 27, 2002.

The Kings (26-18-10) begin play Thursday night two points behind the first-place San Jose Sharks in the Pacific Division. Goaltender Jonathan Quick saved 24 of 25 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 victory at Tampa Bay. That win improved the Kings' record when they scored at least three goals this season to 15-0-1.

"Usually when we do get three (goals), we're pretty safe with (Quick) back there, obviously," center Anze Kopitar said of Quick, to NHL.com. "He kept us in the game in the first period. That's all you want from your goaltender."

Florida (24-17-11) has lost two straight games and seven of their last 10 contests. The Kings beat the Panthers 2-1 on December 1 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Florida is 13-5-7 at home this season, while the Kings are 11-7-6 on the road.

Thursday night's 4:30 p.m. PST game will be televised by Fox Sports West. For more news and notes on Kings hockey, be sure to read Jewels From The Crown.
