The Kings are 1-2 against the Blues this season.
The Los Angeles Kings open their six-game, 10-day Grammy road trip Friday night facing the St. Louis Blues at Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The Kings have won two straight games. The Kings begin play Friday night with 60 points (25-16-10), in seventh place in the Western Conference, four points behind the San Jose Sharks for first place in the Pacific Division.
The Kings have beaten the Blues in both meetings this season, a 5-0 home win on October 18 and a 3-2 win in St. Louis on November 22. Prior to this season, the Kings had lost seven consecutive games to St. Louis.
The Blues have had a full nine days off, as this is their first game since the All-Star Game. The Blues have lost two consecutive games. "We're going to really have to amp it up here when we get back," head coach Ken Hitchcock told the Associated Press. "That's what we told the players: Take a good break but, man, when we come back we're going to really have the temperature turned up to get better."
St. Louis is 7-0-2 in their last nine home games.

Kings Vs. Blues Final Score: Offense Absent For Kings In 1-0 Loss
The Los Angeles Kings opened their six-game road trip Friday night, but it appears the offense didn't make the trip. The Kings managed only 22 shots against St. Louis Blues goaltender Jaroslav Halak, who saved them all in a 1-0 St. Louis win at Scottrade Center.
Jamie Langenbrunner scored his fourth goal of the season at 8:38 of the second period for the lone goal of the game. The Blues are 8-0-2 in their last 10 home games.
All-Star goaltender Jonathan Quick saved 32 of 33 shots for the Kings but suffered the loss. The Kings were outshot 25-14 in the first two periods and though they evened the shots on goal at 8-8 in the final period the Kings were unable to get a shot past Halak.
The Kings have scored an NHL-low 110 goals in 52 games this season, an average of just 2.12 per contest. The Kings have been shutout six times this season.
