Right winger Tyler Toffoli has four points in four games.
Despite the NHL announcing another wave of cancellations early Friday morning -- this time through Nov. 30 -- the organization's minor-league affiliate, the American Hockey League, is still playing this season. There are plenty of Los Angeles Kings' prospects still gaining experience in the minor leagues with the Manchester Monarchs, who have been the Kings' AHL affiliate since 2001.
The Kings' most promising prospect on the Monarchs this season is right winger Tyler Toffoli. The 6'1", 195-pound right-handed shooter has scored two goals and dished out two assists in four games this season.
If you can't bear the NHL lockout any longer after watching the Kings raise the Stanley Cup last June, here's this week's schedule for the Monarchs (3-1-0-0).
- Saturday Oct. 27, 2012 at 7:00 pm ET -- Worcester (0-3-0-1) at Manchester
- Sunday Oct. 28, 2012 at 4:00 pm ET -- Binghamton (3-1-1-0) at Manchester
- Friday Nov. 2, 2012 at 7:00 pm ET -- Scranton (0-4-0-0) at Manchester
