Blue Jackets Vs. Kings: Kings Lose At Home For The First Time

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Rick Nash netted a pair of third-period goals, lifting the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 5-3 win and handing the Los Angeles Kings their first home loss of the season.

Andrew Murray scored a goal and set up another for the Blue Jackets, who have won four of their last six games. Derek Dorsett had two assists, and Steve Mason made 33 saves.

Drew Doughty collected three assists for Los Angeles, which had begun the year with a club-record eight straight wins at Staples Center.

Justin Williams registered a goal and one assist to extend his points streak to a career-best 11 games. Jonathan Quick stopped 21 shots in defeat.
