Dodgers Vs. Diamondbacks Game Preview: L.A. In Search Of Runs In Phoenix Finale

Stay connected for news and updates

After falling 1-0 Tuesday night to the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Los Angeles Dodgers are hoping to open up some offense on Wednesday to keep pace with the San Francisco Giants in the NL West.

The Dodgers will send out Aaron Harang (9-8, 3.75) who is 0-1 with a 9.42 ERA in three starts against Arizona this year. The right-hander lasted five innings against San Diego in his last outing, giving up three runs on seven hits en route to a 4-3 loss.

Arizona will counter with Trevor Cahill (10-11, 3.98 ERA), who was stellar in his last start against the Giants. He took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, eventually giving up two runs on two hits in 6.1 innings leading to a 6-2 victory. Cahill is 2-0 with a 2.92 ERA in four starts against Los Angeles, while he is 4-7 with a 5.33 ERA at Chase Field this season.

One man the Dodgers must be weary of is Miguel Montero, who is 9-17 with one home run against Harang in his career.

First pitch is set for 6:40 p.m. PT with coverage on Prime Ticket and 570 Fox Sports L.A.
