Dodgers Vs. Giants Starting Lineups: Buster Posey Sits For San Francisco

Stay connected for news and updates

The Los Angeles Dodgers open a three-game road series against the San Francisco Giants on Monday night at AT&T Park, looking to rebound after dropping five of their last six games. Nathan Eovaldi gets the start in the opener for the Dodgers, facing Barry Zito of the Giants.

Interleague play is now over, which means the Dodgers now have to have their pitchers hit. But that may actually be a good thing as Dodgers designated hitters went 2-for-33 in American League parks. For what it's worth, Dodgers pitchers this season are hitting.111/.148/.128 this season.

Here are Monday's starting lineups, which include Buster Posey getting a day off for San Francisco:

Dodgers (43-30)

Gordon SS
Herrera LF
Ethier RF
Rivera 1B
Hairston 2B
Ellis C
Uribe 3B
Gwynn CF
Eovaldi P

Giants (40-33)

Blanco RF
Theriot 2B
Cabrera LF
Pagan CF
Sandoval 3B
Belt 1B
Sanchez C
Crawford SS
Zito P
