Dodgers Vs. Rockies Final Score: Aaron Harang Leads L.A. To 6-2 Win

The Los Angeles Dodgers snapped out of their funk on Saturday in a big way. Their offense, which scored just 11 runs in their last five games, all losses, broke out for six runs. Aaron Harang pitched six strong innings, allowing just one run, ending a string of five straight losses by the starting staff as the Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 6-2 at Coors Field.

The Dodgers scored one in the first inning for their first lead since Wednesday, then added two more runs in the second. Harang made it hold up with six strikeouts in his six innings, allowing just one run on four hits and three walks.

The key moment in the game came in the bottom of the fifth inning, when the Rockies loaded the bases off Harang, with the Dodgers leading 4-1. Harang regrouped and got Carlos Gonzalez to pop out and Michael Cuddyer to ground out to end the threat.

Elian Herrera had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for the Dodgers, and Andre Ethier did the same. Ethier leads the National League with 46 RBI and is tied for second in the lea with 18 doubles.

Bobby Abreu added a solo home run in the sixth inning, his first home run as a Dodger.

Nathan Eovaldi gets the start on Sunday for the Dodgers, who go for the series win against Alex White and Colorado.
