The Los Angeles Dodgers may have the best record in baseball right now, but fans have apparently not taken notice of their individual performances. Matt Kemp leads all players with nearly 2.6 million votes, but no other Dodgers are currently projected to be voted as starters to the Mid-Summer Classic. Let's take a look at the latest voting numbers that were released Tuesday.
Competition: Yadier Molina is at 1.58M votes, giving him a chance to earn the bid.
Competition: No one, really. Votto has a 1.3 million vote lead over Lance Berkman, who is currently hurt.
Competition: Brandon Phillips is within striking distance at 885,000 votes, but it appears Uggla will take this one home.
Shortstop: Troy Tulowitzki, 1.2 million
Competition: This will be a two-man battle between Tulo and Rafael Furcal, who has 1.18 million votes.
Outfield: Matt Kemp (2.59 million), Carlos Beltran (1.78 million), Ryan Braun (1.55 million)
Competition: Melky Cabrera trails Braun by a few thousand votes. Andre Ethier is the only other outfielder with more than a million votes, although he has some work to do at 1.14M if he hopes to start.
