Dodgers Vs. Cubs Final Score: Chris Capuano Pitches, Hits L.A. To 5-1 Win

The Los Angeles Dodgers jumped on Chris Volstad early, and snapped a two-game losing streak with a 5-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Saturday afternoon at Wrigley Field. Chris Capuano pitched seven strong innings for his team-high fourth win of the season.

Capuano struck out seven in seven innings, allowing no runs and just three hits. Over his last five starts, Capuano has a 1.41 ERA with 32 strikeouts and 10 walks in 32 innings. He has a scoreless streak of 18 2/3 innings as well.

Capuano came through at the plate as well. After a Matt Treanor sacrifice fly with the bases loaded gave the Dodgers a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning, Capuano drilled a double to the right center field gap for a 3-0 advantage.

Dee Gordon had two hits, including a double, and his 12th stolen base of the season in the win.

Volstad dropped to 0-4 on the season for the Cubs with a 6.55 ERA, and Chicago has lost all six of his starts.

Aaron Harang starts the series finale for the Dodgers on Sunday, and will face either Matt Garza, who missed Saturday's start while ill, or likely Travis Wood, who will likely be recalled from Triple A if Garza can't pitch Sunday.
