Dodgers Vs. Diamondbacks Final Score: Three Home Runs Back Chris Capuano In 6-1 Win

The Los Angeles Dodgers slugged three home runs and Chris Capuano continued his resurgent season as the Los Angeles Dodgers continued their assault on the National League with a 6-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks Monday night in the opener of a three-game series.

Matt Treanor hit a two-run home run in the second inning, Andre Ethier added a solo shot in the seventh inning, and James Loney hit a two-run bomb to right field in the eighth inning to highlight the Dodger scoring.

Chris Capuano allowed just four hits and one run in his six innings, his seventh consecutive quality start. Capuano walked one and struck out five for his team-best sixth win of the season.

The Dodgers have won five straight games and own the best record in baseball at 29-13. They have a seven-game lead in the National League West. They have won at least five straight games three different times this season.

Aaron Harang starts the middle game of the series for the Dodgers on Tuesday, facing Trevor Cahill for Arizona.
