Dodgers Vs. Rockies Final Score: Matt Kemp Homers In 6-2 Loss In Colorado

Matt Kemp homered again for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night, but they lost 6-2 to the Colorado Rockies in the opener of a three-game series at Coors Field. Kemp's home run was his 12th of the season, most in the majors, and set a new Dodgers franchise record for home runs in April.

The Rockies scored three runs in the fourth inning to take control of the game, highlighted by a two-run double by Troy Tulowitzki off Aaron Harang, who allowed five runs in 5 2/3 innings for his second loss of the season.

Juan Nicasio allowed two runs in six innings for the win, but was pulled after allowing two batters to reach base in the seventh. The Dodgers loaded the bases with nobody out, but Kemp and Andre Ethier both struck out, followed by a Juan Rivera pop out.

Kemp ended his stellar month hitting .417, just the 30th Los Angeles Dodger to hit .400 in a month.

Ted Lilly starts for the Dodgers on Tuesday, facing Jhoulys Chacin for Colorado.
