The Los Angeles Dodgers played a pair of split squad games on Saturday.

The first game, against the Seattle Mariners, ended after nine innings in a 5-5 tie. The Dodgers took a 5-2 lead into the eighth inning, but Ronald Belisario gave up three runs on three hits and a walk in the bottom of the eighth and Los Angeles was unable to get another run home. The Dodgers had nine hits in the game, including a home run by Matt Treanor. Josh Fields was the only Dodgers batter with more than one hit in the game, picking up two singles and two RBI. James Loney had a double, which was the only extra-base hit for L.A. in the game.

In the nightcap, the Dodgers rallied late, scoring five runs in the top of the ninth inning to defeat the Chicago White Sox, 10-6. Left fielder Cory Sullivan hit a grand slam in the ninth before an out was even recorded. Juan Rivera and Jerry Hairston Jr. also had home runs for the Dodgers in the game. Starter Chad Billingsley was knocked out early, going 2.1 innings and giving up three runs on six hits, although he did manage to strike out three batters and walk just one.
