Los Angeles Dodgers Interested In Extending Andre Ethier

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier might be around longer for one more year.

Feb 21, 2012 - The Los Angeles Dodgers have a rising baseball player in outfielder Andre Ethier. The Dodgers have already signed Ethier for $10.95 million through the next season. Now it seems general manager Ned Colletti is going to go all in to try and keep him around. He said as much in this video interview.

Ethier is the type of player you'd want to lock up if you were the Dodgers because of the potential he exhibits to have a great baseball career down the road. You want to see if you can lock him up before others try and grab him, and it appears the Dodgers are taking proactive step to ensure they have him locked up before anyone else can come and grab him.

Can Ethier keep up his production? Only time will tell for Dodgers fans.
