Each team has got a few. You know the type; a less taled about prospect that suddenly out of nowhere in on everyone's radar? Well, ESPN's Keith Law has his radar blaring already, taking notice of a few possible sleeper prospects within the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim's farm system.
Make the jump to see the selections.
Here is Law's take on Joc Pederson, the Dodgers sleeper prospect:
Outfielder Joc Pederson has gotten significantly stronger since high school and projects to hit for average and power between his excellent bat speed and sound swing. He's fast enough for center but the bat should profile in a corner if he has to move.
And Law's take on Ariel Pena, the Angels sleeper prospect:
Right-hander Ariel Pena doesn't have a lot of command right now, but he's got a fastball up to 97 mph and a wipeout slider that misses a ton of bats. He'll need to throw more strikes and find an effective weapon against lefties -- who had a .428 OBP against him in the Cal League -- to profile as a starter.
Keep an eye on these young studs, they could be brought up to pasture much sooner than later.
