Dodgers pitching prospect Eric Eadington collected a hold as the Mesa Solar Sox prevailed over the Scottsdale Scorpions 4-3 in Arizona Fall League Action.
Left-handed Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect and Southern California native Eric Eadington threw 1⅓ innings and struck out two as he collected a hold for the Mesa Solar Sox as they prevailed past the Scottsdale Scorpions, 4-3, in Arizona Fall League action on Wednesday night.
Second baseman Rafel Ynoa went 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored in the winning effort for Mesa, and is batting .329 on the season. Catcher Gorman Erickson struggled once again with an 0-for-4 performance and struck out once as his average dips to just .242 on the year.
Center fielder and leadoff man Matt Szczur led the Solar Sox on the evening, going 2-for-3 with a run scored and added two RBIs on the evening, including his second triple of the year. Mesa was 2-for-6 with runners in scoring position and left four runners stranded.
Eadington's hold was his second on the year.
