Rafael Ynoa, Gorman Erickson and Joe Pederson were a combined 1 for 9 as Los Angeles Dodgers' prospects struggled to find any offense in a 7-5 loss for the Mesa Solar Sox.
Second baseman Rafael Ynoa collected one hit and one RBI as the Los Angeles Dodgers prospects again struggled to put together consistent offense in Arizona Fall League action as the Mesa Solar Sox fell to the Peoria Javelinas, 7-5 on Friday.
Joe Pederson, an outfielder, went 0 for 3 before being replaced at designated hitter by James McCann while catching prospect Gorman Erickson went 0 for 2, drew three walks and scored a run. Ynoa's lone RBI came in the top of the second inning on a single to score L.J. Hoes.
Eric Eadington, another Dodgers prospect pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed three hits, one earned run and struck out three while walking two. The left-hander and Southern California native has a 7.27 ERA on the season in 8.2 innings pitched and has totaled 11 strikeouts, allowed five walks and two home runs in nine games.
No other Dodgers prospects saw any playing time in Friday's contest.
