Arizona Fall League: Dodgers prospect Joc Pederson drives in two in 16-10 loss

Mesa lost on Saturday, but some Dodgers prospects performed well.

The Mesa Solar Storm, an Arizona Fall League team that features Los Angeles Dodgers prospects, lost 16-10 to the Surprise Saguaros on Saturday afternoon. Surprise jumped on top with 14 runs in the first two innings, then hung on the rest of the way for the victory.

Two Dodgers prospects played in the game and combined for three hits. Outfielder Joc Pederson went 2-for-5, driving in two runs. Infielder Rafael Ynoa had one hit in four at-bats and also drove in a run.

Ynoa is now hitting .357 for the fall. He has one home run and six RBI, with a .995 OPS in 28 total at-bats. Pederson was struggling much more coming in, batting .083.

Mesa has the worst record in the Arizona Fall League, as the Solar Storm have won just three of 11 games.
