The Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday announced the remaining three bobblehead giveaways on their 2012 promotional schedule, but the one that jumps out is that of legendary Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully. The Dodgers will give away the Scully bobblehead on Thursday, August 30 against Arizona, one of 10 bobblehead dates on the schedule as the Dodgers celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dodger Stadium.
It will be the first time Scully has been featured on a bobblehead doll at Dodger Stadium.
In addition to Scully, who will return for his 63rd season with the club this year, the Dodgers also announced they would giveaway bobblehead dolls for Eric Karros, the man with the most home runs for the franchise since they moved to Los Angeles, and Kirk Gibson, who hit the most famous home run in Dodgers history to win Game 1 of the 1988 World Series.
