Marc Gasol had 18 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 94-85 win over the Los Angeles Clippers Monday night at FedEx Forum in what may have been a first round NBA playoff preview. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak the Clippers had over the Grizzlies.

Chris Paul had 21 points, six assists, and three steals for the Clippers, who shot 40.5% from the field and made just four of 18 shots from three-point range. DeAndre Jordan had 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Clippers, who just began a three-game road trip.

The Clippers (34-23) currently hold the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference, which would mean home court advantage in the first round. The Clippers hold a half-game lead over Memphis (33-23), currently the No. 5 seed. The Clippers won the tiebreaker over the Grizzlies by winning two of their three matchups this season.

The Clippers have six road games and just three home games remaining. Memphis has six home games and four road contests remaining. The Clippers are also a game and a half behind the Los Angeles Lakers (36-22) in the Pacific Division.

The road trip continues for the Clippers on Wednesday night in Oklahoma City against the Thunder.
