Clippers Vs. Hornets Final Score: Chris Paul, Randy Foye Guide 107-98 Comeback Win

For the second time on Sunday at Staples Center, the home team used a fourth quarter comeback to pull out a much-needed win. Randy Foye scored 24 points including six three-pointers as the Clippers overcame a 13-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat the New Orleans Hornets 107-98.

Chris Paul led the Clippers with 33 points and 13 assists, while Blake Griffin added 21 points and 15 rebounds for the Clippers, who shot 42.9% for the game.

With their 40th win of the season, the Clippers clinched their best winning percentage in franchise history, surpassing the 1974-1975 Buffalo Braves, who finished 49-33 (.598).

The Clippers led by five at halftime but New Orleans used a 32-17 run in the third quarter to take command of the game. That is, before the comeback by Los Angeles, who is still alive in the Pacific Division race. The Clippers' magic number to clinch home court advantage in the first round is one.

Former Clipper Eric Gordon had 17 points and five assists for the Hornets, while fellow former Clipper Al-Farouq Aminu added 14 points and eight rebounds. New Orleans had five players score in double figures.

The Clippers end their season with road games Tuesday in Atlanta and Wednesday in New York.
