Clippers Vs. Timberwolves Final Score: Kevin Love Lifts Minnesota To 95-94 Win

Kevin Love scored 39 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 95-94 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night at Target Center in Minneapolis. It was the third victory in as many games for the Timberwolves over the Clippers this season.

Chris Paul was fouled on a potential game-tying three-point attempt with 2.7 seconds left and he made the first two from the charity stripe, but missed the third. With the loss, the Clippers (22-14) fell out of first place in the Pacific Division, falling a half-game behind the Los Angeles Lakers.

Love made five of 10 three-point shots on the night, including three in a row as part of a personal 11-point run by Love in the first quarter. Derrick Williams added 15 points and nine rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench for Minnesota (20-19), who shot 40% from the field on the night.

Blake Griffin scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Clippers in defeat. Paul had 18 points, five assists, and four rebounds on the night. The Clippers fell to 10-9 on the road this season.

The Clippers continue their road trip Wednesday night in New Jersey.

The Clippers had six players score in double figures in Sunday's win in Houston, the fourth time they have done so this season. The Clippers are 4-0 in those games.
