The newest member of the Los Angeles Clippers is expected to make his debut with the team on Wednesday night, as forward Kenyon Martin will suit up against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena. Martin is expected to play about 15 minutes, per Maddelyn Burke.
Martin was signed by the Clippers on February 3, after playing overseas in China during the NBA lockout.
Burke also reported that reserve guard Eric Bledsoe will be active but will not play on Wednesday, still recovering from surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee in October. In the absence of Chauncey Billups, out for the season with a torn left Achilles, Randy Foye will start for the Clippers at shooting guard. Here are the estimated starting lineups for Wednesday night:
Clippers (15-7)
Point Guard: Chris Paul
Shooting Guard: Randy Foye
Small Forward: Caron Butler
Power Forward: Blake Griffin
Center: DeAndre Jordan
Cavaliers (9-14)
Point Guard: Kyrie Irving
Shooting Guard: Alonzo Gee
Small Forward: Omri Casspi
Power Forward: Antawn Jamison
Center: Anderson Varejao
