The Clippers won their 11th game in a row to improve to 19-6 on the season, while the Hornets dropped their ninth game in a row to fall to 5-20. The Clippers won each of their first three quarters, 22-16, 26-22, and 27-18, to build a 75-56 lead and crusied from there for the win.
The Clippers shot 50% from the field while holding the Hornets to 38.7% shooting. Los Angeles had six players in double figures, with Blake Griffin piling on 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting and Jamal Crawford putting in 17 points and five assists. Chris Paul had 10 points and 12 assists, DeAndre Jordan put in 12 points and Matt Barnes added 11.
The Hornets only had two players in double figures, as Robin Lopez put in 22 points and nine boards and Anthony Davis added 16 points and five rebounds.
