After falling to the Miami Heat in the first meeting overseas, the Los Angeles Clippers were able to pick up the win in game two, beating Miami, 99-89, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China.
For the Clippers, star point guard Chris Paul returned to the team and made his preseason debut after offseason thumb surgery sidelined him for more than two months. The 27-year-old point guard played just under 22 minutes while registering four points, five rebounds and six assists.
Clippers center DeAndre Jordan scored a game-high 18 points and was perfect from the floor, making all 8 field goal attempts. The big man also had nine rebounds and a pair of blocked shots to go with his 18 points. Jamal Crawford added 15 points off the bench.
On the other end, Miami shooting guard Dwyane Wade was limited in the game, seeing just eight minutes of action. Meanwhile, LeBron James and Chris Bosh both saw 20 minutes of action and each scored 11 points.
The Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat face off in the first of two games in China on Thursday morning, the second NBA preseason game for both teams.
