Without Chris Paul and Mo Williams, the Los Angeles Clippers were expected to have a tough time Tuesday night in Salt Lake City. But the Clippers' 108-79 loss to the Utah Jazz was worse than expected, and continued a horrific run for the Clippers in Utah.
The loss was the 16th consecutive defeat for the Clippers on the road against the Jazz, and they are a stunning 1-42 in their last 43 games in Utah, dating back to 1990. That's right, one win in 43 games. Here is the gory list, courtesy of the always great Basketball-Reference.com:

The Los Angeles Clippers never seem to have a good time in Salt Lake City, and Tuesday night without Chris Paul and Mo Williams in uniform was no different for Los Angeles. The Utah Jazz beat the Clippers 108-79, ending the Clippers' three-game winning streak and extending a rather unfortunate road streak for the Clips in Utah.
The Clippers have now lost 16 straight games in Utah, and are 1-42 in their last 43 games in Salt Lake City dating back to 1990. Blake Griffin had 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers, who are 1-3 on the road this season. Los Angeles shot 36.5% from the field on Tuesday night, including just four for 20 from three-point range (20.0%).
Paul Millsap scored 20 points and C.J. Miles added 19 off the bench for the Jazz, who shot 47.6% from the field. Utah has won eight of their last nine games and is 7-1 at home this season. Al Jefferson scored 10 points and pulled down 13 rebounds for the victorious Jazz.
The Clippers complete their back-to-back-to-back set of games with a Wednesday night contest back in Los Angeles against the Dallas Mavericks. The Clippers hope to have both Paul (strained left hamstring) and Williams (sore right foot) back for that game, as both have missed the last two games.

Point guard Chris Paul will miss his second straight game Tuesday night as the Los Angeles Clippers battle the Utah Jazz at Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, per Clippers' reporter Madelyn Burke. Paul is out with a strained left hamstring, an injury he suffered in Saturday night's victory over the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center.
The timing of the injury isn't ideal (but when would it ever be ideal?), as Paul is coming off his two best games of the season, in wins over the Miami Heat and the Lakers. Paul had 27 points and 11 assists against Miami, and scored 33 in the win over the Lakers, and Paul owned the floor in both games. He has 17 assists and just two turnovers in his last two games, with six steals.
Paul on the season is averaging 18.0 points, 8.4 assists, and 2.8 steals per contest in nine games.
Randy Foye will start in place of Paul, with Chauncey Billups sliding over to point guard. Foye dished out 10 assists for just the sixth time in his career in Monday's win over the New Jersey Nets.
