The Tigers are coming to town. The Halos will be trying to pick up their fourth straight win as the series begins on Friday.

The Los Angeles Angels proved they're far from out of the Wild Card race as they swept the Oakland Athletics to begin their week. On Friday, they will return home to face the very tough Detroit Tigers for a three-game series. The Angels are 8-2 over their last 10 games and will be wary of the playoff repercussions of this set of games. The Tigers will come to the Big A just a half-game behind the Halos in the Wild Card chase and one game in back of the Chicago White Sox in the American League Central.

TV Schedule & Probable Pitchers

Friday's game will begin at 7:05 p.m. PT and will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Ervin Santana hopes to continue his best string of starts of the season and pick up his ninth win. He faces a very tough opponent in Max Scherzer, who enters with a 15-6 record and 3.93 ERA.

Sunday's series finale will get started at 12:35 p.m. PT and will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Zack Greinke will be the hopeful benefactor of the best pitching matchup of the series. He goes up against Anibal Sanchez, who is 2-4 with a 4.50 ERA.
