Jarrod Parker (9-7, 3.72 ERA) takes the hill for the Athletics and is also riding a hot streak of his own. After opening August with three straight losses, Parker has picked up two wins in his past three starts, including eight shutout innings against the Cleveland Indians on Aug. 19.
