Angels Vs. White Sox Game Preview: 3 1/2 Games Out, Angels Continue To Drive For Wild Card

The Los Angeles Angels, currently 3½ games out of the second AL Wild Card, face the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. Friday night saw the Angels win the first game of the series, 6-2.

They turn to Dan Haren (11-11, 4.41 ERA) to make it two in a row. He's 1-1 with a 3.64 ERA in five career starts against the White Sox. Jose Quintana (6-4, 3.69 ERA) is on the mound for Chicago. The rookie left-hander has struggled as of late. After going 4-1 with a 2.04 ERA before the All-Star break, the second half of the season has seen him post a 2-3 record with a 5.06 ERA, including an 8.31 ERA in three starts in September.
