Dodgers Vs. Angels Final Score: Dee Gordon, Chris Capuano Give L.A. 3-1 Win

Stay connected for news and updates

Dee Gordon had two hits, including a triple, and scored twice, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday afternoon in the second game of a three-game series at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Gordon, who entered the game in an 0-for-17 skid, also stole a base, his 22nd of the season.

Chris Capuano pitched seven strong innings, allowing just one run on seven hits, with one walk and four strikeouts to pick up his team-leading ninth win of the season.

Ervin Santana was masterful at times, retiring 13 in a row at one point for the Angels. He struck out 10 batters in eighth innings, the ninth double-digit strikeout game of his career. But he also allowed three runs, including two earned runs, and got hung with the loss.

A pair of rookies face off in Sunday's series finale, as Garrett Richards will start on the mound for the Angels while Aaron Harang gets the ball for the Dodgers.
