The Angels return home to play a short two-game series against the Oakland Athletics. This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season.
The Los Angeles Angels are coming off dropping two out of three in brutal fashion to the first-place Texas Rangers, but are returning to Angel Stadium on Monday with a 3-3 record on their road trip. The Oakland Athletics will be first up on this homestand as they kick off a two-game series on Monday.
The A's are 18-17 and are in second place in the American League West, five games behind the Rangers. The Angels will enter the two-game series with a record of 15-20 and in last place, half a game behind the Seattle Mariners.
TV Schedule & Probable Pitchers
In Monday's opener, Tyson Ross will take the hill for the A's. He is 1-3 with a 7.71 ERA. Dan Haren will start for the Angels and is also 1-3, but has been a hard-luck loser more often than not. First pitch will be at 7:05 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can find the radio broadcast on KLAA 830.
On Tuesday, Bartolo Colon will start for Oakland. He was lights-out at the beginning of the season but has had a rough couple of outings and is now 3-3. He'll go up against Ervin Santana, who will be looking for his second win of the year. The game will begin at 4:05 p.m. PT will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can find the radio broadcast on KLAA 830.
