A look at the latest Los Angeles sports news

Not only did the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pick up the biggest bat and the best arm on the free agency market this offseason in Albert Pujols and C.J. Wilson, they also have the No. 1 overall minor league prospect in Mike Trout, according to ESPN's Keith Law's top 100 prospects list.
Law called Trout 'the perfect prospect,' noting that "he is a position player who affects the game on offense, on defense and via baserunning, and has shown incredible maturity in his approach." Trout saw a good amount of action last season, barely keeping his rookie eligibility for this season in the process, and is as polished as a minor-leaguer could possibly be.
Three other Angels prospects made Law's top 100 as well as well in shortstop Jean Segura (44th), RHP Garrett Richards (70th) and John Hellweg (81st).
