Los Angeles Angels outfielder Peter Bourjos is believed to be a primary target of the Miami Marlins in a potential trade, according to MLB Trade Rumors.

The Marlins are thought to have a longstanding interest in the 25-year-old, who is the victim of circumstance in an outfield full of stars. Southern California native and right-handed pitcher Ricky Nolasco is rumored to be on the trading block for Miami, and the pieces could be in place for a potential deal between the two clubs.

The Halos' outfield got a lot more crowded with the signing of highly coveted free agent Josh Hamilton, and Bourjos appears to be the odd man out in a rotation that also includes Mike Trout and Vernon Wells. The Angels reportedly would like to receive a pitcher for the outfielder to shore up their rotation after losing Zack Greinke to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

After the loss of Greinke, the Angels are looking to build their depth around ace Jered Weaver and C.J. Wilson, who the teamed signed a season ago to a $77.5 million contract in the offseason.
