Los Angeles Angels pitcher Ervin Santana had many great moments in Anaheim before being traded to the Kansas City Royals.

Now that the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have dealt Ervin Santana, Angels fans have begun to reminisice about the best performances of Santana. Rev Halofan of Halos Heaven recaps the best that Santana has had to offer.

The best performance has to be the no-hitter that Santana threw in Cleveland on July 27, 2011. Santana struck out ten batters while only giving up two runners. It was Santana's first win against the Indians and was one of the greatest pitching performances in Angels history.

Santana has also had some signature moments, like making an emergency relief appearance to win Game 5 of the ALDS against the Yankees in 2005, winning the division clinchers against Texas in 2005 and 2009, a perfect game through nearly seven innings, and plenty of others worth noting. Peruse the full list on Halos Heaven.

Santana was traded to the Kansas City Royals for prospect Brandon Sisk and $1 million in cash.
