Anaheim is 10-2-2 in their last 14 games.

The Anaheim Ducks look for their second consecutive victory on Wednesday night as they host the Carolina Hurricanes at Honda Center. This is the final game of a four-game homestand for the Ducks, who are about to embark on an eight-game road trip.

After Wednesday night, the Ducks won't play another game at Honda Center for 18 days.

"[Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau] just kind of tweaked our system a little bit, and we just kind of simplified things and we're not trying to do too much out there," defenseman Sheldon Brookbank told the Associated Press on Tuesday, alluding to Anaheim's 10-2-2 record in their last 14 games, during which they have allowed only 29 goals..

This is the only meeting between these two clubs this season. Carolina won their last meeting, in Raleigh, on December 18, 2010. The Hurricanes are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games.

Wednesday night's 7 p.m. PST game will be televised by Prime Ticket. For more news and notes on Ducks hockey, be sure to read Anaheim Calling.
