Ducks Vs. Blackhawks Preview: Anaheim Looks To Add To Chicago's Woes

The Anaheim Ducks will host the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday afternoon. While the Blackhawks have been struggling in recent weeks, the Ducks have been thriving.

The Anaheim Ducks have really begun salvaging their season since the All-Star break. While it's likely they'll still finish in last place in the Pacific Division, the current state of the team is a far cry from the horror show that lasted throughout the early months of the season. With the Los Angeles Kings suddenly hitting the skids, it's entirely possibly they may slide right past the Ducks into the cellar; the Ducks are currently just six points behind the Kings and the Dallas Stars in the division.

The Ducks will host the visiting Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday afternoon. The Blackhawks have seen their fair share of struggles as of late and spent Saturday night getting shut out by the Kings, 4-0. Chicago is now just 4-6-0 over their last 10 games, while Anaheim is 7-1-2 in their last 10. The Ducks will look to extend Chicago's current losing streak to three games. Consider this game a tune-up for the Ducks settling into the role of the spoiler over the last month of regular-season play.

The puck drops at 4:00 p.m. PT and will be televised on NBC-SN (formerly Vs.). You can also listen live on 830 AM.
