The Anaheim Ducks continued their excellent play of late on Wednesday with a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, improving their record to 3-0-1 to start their eight-game road trip. The game-winning goal came off the stick of 41-year old Teemu Selanne, who scored at 7:51 of the third period, his 19th goal of the season.
"It was a great pass from Beleskey, and I knew [Pittsburgh goalie Marc-Andre Fleury] was going to challenge me, he came out quite far," Selanne said after the game. "I have done that move like 1,000 times in the practice and the games, so it was nice to see it go in."
The goal for Selanne moved him into a tie for 12th all-time with Brendan Shanahan.
