The Ducks have slipped a bit since their big winning run but have still gone 6-2-2 over their last 10 games. They are only six points behind the Dallas Stars for fourth place in the Pacific Division. With just a couple months left, they have an excellent opportunity to climb out of the cellar before the 2011-12 season comes to a close.
They have a big opportunity to pick up some points, but a tough week ahead as they continue a lengthy road trip. The Ducks will play four games on the road this week.
First up, on Tuesday, Feb. 14, the Ducks will visit the Minnesota Wild. The Wild have plummeted from first place to fourth place in the Northwest Division in relatively short order and are 3-6-1 over their last 10 games. Tuesday's game will begin at 4:30 p.m. PT and will air on NBC Sports (formerly Versus) and TSN2.
On Wednesday, Feb. 15, the Ducks will visit the always-formidable Pittsburgh Penguins, who are tied for second place in the Atlantic Division. The puck will drop at 4:00 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on Prime Ticket.
On Friday, Feb. 17, the Ducks will take on another Atlantic Division team, as they face off against the fourth-place New Jersey Devils. That game will also begin at 4:00 p.m. PT and will air on Prime Ticket.
Finally, the Ducks will take on the Florida Panthers on Sunday, Feb. 19. The Panthers are in first place in the Southeast Division and will also present a formidable challenge. That game will start at 3:00 p.m. PT and will be carried on Prime Ticket.
