Stay connected for news and updates

San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - Devin Setoguchi scored the go-ahead goal on a power play with 5:21 remaining, leading the San Jose Sharks to a 4-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks. Setoguchi, lining up a one-timer from above the left circle, scored on a slap shot through a screen to give the Sharks their first lead of the game. It was also their only power play.

San Jose moved back in front of Detroit for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference after the Red Wings beat Nashville in overtime earlier Saturday to briefly take the lead. The streaking Sharks have at least a point in eight straight games, giving them 101 for the season to Detroit's 100. Anaheim remained No. 7 in the standings, two points behind Nashville and one ahead of Chicago.
