Ducks' Cam Fowler Scratched For Game In Columbus

Stay connected for news and updates

Anaheim Ducks' defenseman Cam Fowler, who had his nose broken in a hit by Shane Doan of the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday night, will not play tonight, as the Ducks begin a four-game road trip in Columbus against the Blue Jackets. The 18-year old Fowler, who was selected 12th overall in the first round of this year's NHL draft, has played in all six games so far for the Ducks this season. Fowler is sixth on the team in average time on the ice, with just over 20 minutes per game. Fowler has scored one goal, and has two assists so far this season.

The Ducks are 0-3 on the road this season, and have been outscored 13-2 in those three games. They just completed a 2-0-1 homestand in which they outscored their opponents 11-9.
